On Monday I completed my Artist board and critical studies
of Louis John Rhead for poster 3. I then added small details to poster 3. On
Tuesday I stretched my paper ready for poster 3 and worked all day on
completing poster 2. I am really pleased with the result.
On Wednesday I started poster 3 and have worked until Friday
on this. It has been tiring but I am glad I have managed to achieve this. Whilst
I was doing this picture it evolved and I began to add stuff. In York I saw
some stained glass windows and this had always been an idea for my final
poster. Whilst I had been looking at Art Nouveau I got the idea for flowing
robes and dresses. As Arthur is the main image on this poster I wanted to fetch
in something that represented other characters in the final bit of the legend.
I altered the border which had originally been flowers and made this more
involved so I added flowers (Guinevere’s symbol), a rowan tree (Morgana Sigel),
a dagger (Mordred kills Arthur with a druid dagger), and a staff (Merlin’s Aes
Sidhe staff).
On Saturday I have collated all my paperwork and made sure
it is all correct and in my folders. I have then checked it is all posted
online including videos of me working on some of the projects.
On Sunday I made the finishing touches to poster 3.
Wk:18 Monday.
This is the last day so I prepared everything for handing in.
