Week 4 (21/12/2016) Shawlands

I had narrowed my choices down and one book I will definitely do is the Hungry Caterpillar. I loved this book when I was little and I can see why it still appeals now to children and more importantly, it appeals to both boys and girls.

I looked at teaching websites with my mum this week such as TES and I also looked at Pinterest.

I looked at different sample of material I could use to make it more interesting such as tissue paper and coloured card.

I think this will be my first choice for Keystage 1 although I am looking at other books and characters.

I am looking at books for girls/boys and books that appeal to both.
